Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson joined Daily Caller White House correspondent Maranda Finney for an exclusive interview to discuss how the government aims to protect the homeless population amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The government recently approved the “Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act” (CARES Act), which provided over $12 billion in total funding for homelessness and housing relief. Of that $12 billion, a little over $3 billion was allocated for rental assistance programs and protections intended to aid at-risk and homeless populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Carson joins to discuss how exactly that $3 billion is being used. (RELATED: New York COVID-19 Survivor Shares His Story)
