Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has been named the greatest transfer in the history of the sport.

247Sports published a list of the greatest transfers in the history of college football and the LSU Heisman-winner was at the top of the list. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Burrow transferred out of Ohio State to the Tigers after failing to beat out Dwayne Haskins for the starting spot. He led the Tigers to a national title last season and took home the Heisman.

It’s pretty hard to argue against Burrow being in the top spot. He was simply never going to see the field at Ohio State and he left.

I think people thought he’d be solid at LSU. I don’t think anyone who is being honest thought he’d become the best QB in America, win the Heisman and lead LSU to a national title.

I mean, we’re talking about a guy nobody knew about three years ago. It’s not like Joe Burrow entered the scene with all the hype in the world.

He was a backup for the Buckeyes and took his talents to the SEC. The rest is history.

Now, he’s with the Cincinnati Bengals after being the first pick of the 2020 NFL draft. It’s time to see what he can do in the NFL, but we’ve all learned not to count him out.
