Fans were concerned over “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest’s health after the 2020 finale.
A representative for the host confirmed to People magazine Monday that Seacrest did not have a stroke during Sunday night’s show.
So like… I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV but did Ryan Seacrest have a stroke on national TV tonight? #AmericanIdol #AnericanIdolFinale pic.twitter.com/SuuOMlv0yS

At the end of the show, Seacrest’s speech seemingly became slurred and his right eye appeared larger than his left. Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their concerns, People magazine reported.
“Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night,” the representative told People magazine. “Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home.”
