CBS Sports recently dropped its rankings for the best coaches in college football, and Paul Chryst got shafted.

The top two men in the rankings were Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney, in that order. I have no complaints there. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

It’s borderline impossible to put anyone in the top two spots other than the Alabama and Clemson coaches. Everyone with a functioning brain agrees with that.

However, I have a major problem with Paul Chryst coming in at 17. Yes, the man leading the Wisconsin Badgers ranked 17th!

That’s an absurd choice. You don’t have to put Paul Chryst in the top five, but he damn sure better be in the top 10.

Anything less than that is a completely absurd take from whoever is putting the rankings together.

You know what Paul Chryst has done at Wisconsin? He’s only won 52 games in five years! No big deal! Just averaging more than 10 wins a season with the Badgers.

I’m honestly fired up right now. I feel like someone attacked a family member and it’s on! We’re taking souls at this point.

The most impressive part about what Chryst does is that he wins all those games with talent that is mostly overlooked by other traditional powers.

I guess that’s what being a Wisconsin man is all about. You’re just humble, play with a chip on your shoulder and get the job done.

I’m printing this out and putting it on the board for the 2020 season. We’ll see who is laughing when it’s all said and done!
