Reality TV star Kim Kardashian offered to pay for the medical bills of a protester reportedly shot in the face with a rubber bullet.

Kardashian tweeted a photo of the girl’s injuries Monday, along with a request to get in contact with the girl.

“This is heartbreaking and so disturbing,” Kardashian tweeted. “Does anyone know how I can get in contact with her? I would love to help her with her medical care if she needs it.” (RELATED: Here Are All The Celebrities Who Have Participated In George Floyd Protests)

The woman was later identified as Shannyn Sharyse Nara on Twitter and Facebook, according to a report published by Page Six.

“As many of you saw last night I protested and at the end of one my videos you can see the aftermath of me taking a rubber bullet or something straight to the head,” Nara shared on Facebook on Saturday.

“My forehead has a chunk out of it and the doctors couldn’t even stitch it because of the debris. My right eye is swollen and took an hour before I could open it. Both of my eyes are messed up from debris that got trapped in them and I have to use numbing drops just to be able to open them.”

It is unclear if Kardashian has gotten into contact with Nara.

As previously reported, the death of George Floyd sparked protests and riots across American cities. Floyd died while in custody of the Minnesota Police Department. Video footage filmed by bystanders shows now-former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for roughly nine minutes.

Chauvin has since been fired and charged with murder in the third degree and manslaughter.
