President Donald Trump is leading presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in the crucial swing state of Wisconsin, a new poll suggests.

A poll conducted by the conservative Trafalgar Group and obtained by the Daily Caller found Trump leading the former vice president in the state by a margin of 46%-45%.

The poll was conducted between June 23-25, and surveyed 1021 Wisconsin residents. The poll has a margin of error of roughly 3.04%. (RELATED: ‘Shocks And Pisses Me Off’: Obama Reportedly Slams Trump Calling Coronavirus ‘China Virus’)

The poll significantly differs from other recent surveys in the state, including a New York Times poll published earlier in June that found Biden leading Trump by 11% in the state. Biden currently leads Trump by 6.2% in Wisconsin, according to RealClearPolitics’ polling average. Trump narrowly defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin in 2016, and the state is expected to once again be a pivotal battleground in the upcoming election. Another recent poll from the Trafalgar Group found Trump within 1% of Biden in Michigan, which was also at odds with other polling that showed Biden with a sizable lead in the state. The Trafalgar Group rose to prominence during the 2016 presidential election after being the only pollster to correctly predict Trump’s victories in Michigan and Pennsylvania. The group was also the only polling service that correctly predicted the 2018 election victories of Florida Republicans Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott, according to RealClearPolitics.
