Florida and North Carolina State will play twice in football in the coming years.

The Wolfpack announced the home-and-home series on the team’s official Instagram page Thursday. The first game will be at N.C. State in 2026 and the second game will be at Florida in 2032. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

These are the kinds of series fans want to see. These are the kinds of series that people get up for and get excited about.

I drag the SEC all the time for the weak nonconference games we see come out of the conference. It’s borderline embarrassing at times.

However, if I’m going to drag them for weak nonconference games, then I have to tip my cap when they schedule somebody with a pulse.

While North Carolina State might not be a powerhouse, they’re still a legit ACC team for Florida to play.

Will the Gators still likely dominate both games? Almost certainly, but it’s still a step in the right direction. Hopefully, more SEC teams follow.
