“Glee” star Naya Rivera was reported missing after her son was found alone on a boat in Lake Piru, California.

Police responded to a report of a 4-year-old boy left alone on a boat around 4:48 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a report published by NBC Los Angeles. The 4-year-old boy was Rivera’s son and was found asleep on a pontoon boat that had been rented hours earlier. The police do not suspect any foul play.

The man who rented to the “Glee” star found the boy on the boat after she never came back.

Rivera’s wallet was found on board the boat along with food, the outlet reported. (RELATED: Chinese Journalists Keep Disappearing. This Congressman Wants Answers)

A search and rescue team was sent to look for the actress Wednesday afternoon, but suspended the search at nightfall. The team was back searching Thursday morning.

“This is considered to be a horrible accident,” Ventura County Sheriff’s Department officials said, according to the outlet.

“I can’t make any sense of what happened,” Ventura County Deputy Chris Dyer said. “We just know that we found a 4-year-old on a boat, and he said that his mother never got back in.

“So, right now, we’re viewing this as a tragic accident,” he added.
