The St. Louis Cardinals have more than a dozen new cases of coronavirus.
According to Ken Rosenthal, the team has had a total of 13 new coronavirus cases. Seven of the positive tests come from players and the other six come from staff members. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The team’s upcoming games against the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox have been postponed.

Cardinals-White Sox game at Field of Dreams next Thursday in Dyersville, Iowa cancelled, sources tell The Athletic. Reasoning not believed to be tied to additional positive tests on Cardinals. More a logistical problem.

It almost feels like the MLB is a dead man walking at this point. It’s like we all can see the fate of the league on the horizon but nobody wants to admit it.
First, the Miami Marlins got decimated by coronavirus and had to shut things down. Now, the Cardinals are in the very same boat.

I might turn out to be wrong, but I seriously doubt it. There’s no reason to be optimistic about the MLB at this point. The league’s handling of coronavirus has been nothing short of a disaster.
