The MLB is reportedly considering a bubble system for the postseason.

According to ESPN, the MLB is looking at using a bubble system of three cities to accommodate the 16 teams that will be in the playoffs. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The discussions are coming in the aftermath of the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals getting hammered by coronavirus.

I’m glad to see that the MLB is finally coming around to the logical stance on bubbles. As stated above, two teams in the league have been decimated by coronavirus.

It’s very clear that the MLB’s plan of letting teams travel from city to city has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster.

Now they’re considering using three cities as bubbles for the postseason. It sounds like a great idea and should be pursued.

We simply can’t continue down the same path with teams getting drilled by coronavirus left and right. It’s far too risky.

Put the teams in bubbles for the postseason and have the same success as the NBA and NHL. It’s not hard to figure out.
