A fight broke out on an American Airlines flight Monday in Las Vegas, according to videos posted by a passenger.

A viral video posted on Twitter by Caryn Ross, who says her husband Jack Ross was a passenger on the flight, showed three women wearing face coverings throwing punches and pulling each other’s hair. (RELATED: ‘The Beach Is Closed’: Woman Interrupts Wedding Over Coronavirus Restrictions)

“Nothing like a morning Fight Club as tempers flared on @AmericanAir LAS-CLT flight today,” Ross said on Twitter. “So much for social distancing!”

The plane was sitting on the tarmac waiting to depart from Las Vegas when the confrontation began, according to CTV News.

It’s unclear why the fight started – Fox News reported that the fight broke out when a customer refused to comply with the face mask policy, and CTV News reported that Ross’s husband Jack, who recorded the video, said the brawl was over seating assignments.

Ross’s husband said that police were called and one woman was escorted off the plane, according to CTV News.
