Mariah Carey Shares Release Date For Upcoming Album ‘Rarities’

Mariah Carey definitely got everyone’s attention when she shared the huge news that she’s been working on a new album called “Rarities” due out in October.

“This one is for you, my fans,” the 50-year-old pop singer captioned her post on Instagram, along with a black-and-white shot of the superstar on the cover of her album. According to the report, the “Glitter” star’s new album will include more than 30 tracks, including many that are new to fans. One of those includes a collaboration she did with Lauryn Hill called “Save the Day,” per the outlet.

And of course some of her biggest hits like “Hero” and “Always Be My Baby.”

As previously reported, Carey celebrated a huge milestone in December when her classic Christmas hit, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the first time since it debuted in 1994.
