Well, this certainly isn’t good news at all. Notre Dame already temporarily paused football practice after coronavirus issues on campus, and now players have the virus.

In case you weren’t certain, that’s really bad news. In fact, it’s about as bad as it could get before things just fall apart.

Now, as long as the Fighting Irish continue to keep practicing and it’s only five cases, then I think we’ll be fine here.

Keep the players isolated from the rest of the team, let them heal up and then let them return once they’re healthy.

What you don’t do is let them anywhere near the locker room. If Notre Dame can get that job done, then they should be fine.

Trust me, we’re all cheering for Notre Dame and every other team to play during the coronavirus pandemic.
