Rioters with rifles halted a police vehicle and struck an officer in the head with a brick in Kenosha, Wisconsin following a police shooting of a black man, video showed.
Mass unrest erupted in the city on Sunday after officers reportedly shot Jacob Blake, a black man, following a domestic disturbance, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.

Rioters yelled “gas us” and “you’re fucking cowards” at the officers in the vehicle, video showed. Law enforcement eventually deployed what appears to be teargas.
An officer was reportedly struck in the head with a brick in a separate incident during Sunday’s unrest in Kenosha, according to video tweeted by Twitter user KittyLists.

Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers tweeted Sunday that Blake was “not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed” by police. (RELATED: Looters Argue With Armed Store Owners ‘About Why They Can’t Break In’ On Live TV)
While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.
