Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) announced Monday that they would be suspending their ‘It’s Finger Lickin Good’ slogan due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The fast-food chain said in a statement that their “slogan doesn’t feel quite right” during the pandemic. They will be pausing the use of the slogan in their advertising, but it will be back eventually, KFC said.

KFC blurred out part of the slogan Monday in an advertisement on Youtube, making their buckets read, “It’s Good!” (RELATED: University Of Alabama Police To Monitor Off-Campus Residences Not Complying With COVID Rules)

“We find ourselves in a unique situation—having an iconic slogan that doesn’t quite fit in the current environment,” KFC’s global chief marketing officer Catherine Tan-Gillespie said. “While we are pausing the use of It’s Finger Lickin’ Good, rest assured the food craved by so many people around the world isn’t changing one bit.”

People should avoid touching their mouth, eyes, and nose with their hands in order to protect themselves from coronavirus, according to the CDC’s guidelines.
