Navy and BYU football players shared a cool moment after their Monday night game.

Following BYU’s 55-3 dismantling of Navy, the Cougars and Midshipmen joined forces to sing the Naval Academy’s alumni song and shout “Beat Army.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You can see a picture of the moment below.

It’s stuff like this that makes college football so damn cool. Navy got absolutely decimated last night, and still came together with BYU for an awesome moment.

You would never see something like this in the NFL. It’s the perfect reminder of why college football is simply on a different level.

Also, I can’t believe how badly BYU beat Navy last night. I actually thought Navy would have a real shot to win the game.

After all, it’s hard to prepare for the triple option on short notice, but BYU didn’t struggle at all. They ran it up on the Midshipmen.

I haven’t seen a Navy football team get beaten that badly by a squad of similar skill in a very long time. They had no answers for anything the Cougars threw at them.

It was great to see college football on TV again, and it was great to see the two teams join together for an awesome moment.
