Paul Rudd got everyone’s attention when a public service announcement of him surfaced urging “millennials” to “shut up and wear a mask” during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 51-year-old actor showed up in the video in a yellow hoodie with sweat pants, wearing headphones and carrying a skateboard. The clip was noted by TooFab.com in a piece published Tuesday. (RELATED: Check Out The Official Trailer For Paul Rudd’s WWII Drama ‘The Catcher Was A Spy’ [VIDEO])

“A few days ago, I was talking on the iPhone with my homie, [Democratic New York] Governor [Andrew] Cuomo, and he’s just going off about how us Millennials need to wear masks because, get this, apparently a lot of COVID is transmitted by us Millennials, no cap,” Rudd shared. “Fam, let’s real talk,” he added. “Masks? They’re totally beast. So slide that into your DMs and Twitch it.”

Rudd continued, “because caring about other people is the new not caring about other people.”

At one point, the full screen changes and he appeared in what looks like a Tik Tok video on a phone talking about “how bout a stop the pandemic challenge?” and “what about a save grandma challenge” as he attempted what appeared to be some dance moves.

The backdrop then fades away and he said to the camera he “shouldn’t have to make it fun” and urged people to wear a mask.

“People are dying,” the “Ant-Man” star concluded. “Hundreds of thousands of people are dying and it’s preventable. It’s preventable. Just wear a mask, I shouldn’t have to make it fun. It’s science.”
