Actress Kelly Clarkson was reportedly sued by her management group for not paying commissions.

Starstruck Management Group filed the lawsuit against Clarkson Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to Variety, who obtained the lawsuit.

The management group is run by Narvel Blackstock, the father of Clarkson’s ex-husband John Blackstock. Clarkson filed for divorce from John in June of 2020. (RELATED: REPORT: Kelly Clarkson Files For Divorce From Brandon Blackstock After Six Years Of Marriage)

Clarkson has been teamed up with Starstruck Management Group for the past 13 years. Her agreement with the company requires Clarkson to pay them 15% commission on her earnings, according to Variety. She has reportedly paid the company $1.9 million so far, but still currently owes $1.4 million. By the end of the year, Starstruck Management Group claimed Clarkson will owe them roughly $5.4 million, Variety reported the lawsuit read.

“Over the course of approximately 13 years, Starstruck developed Clarkson into a mega superstar,” the complaint stated, according to Variety. “By way of example only, Starstruck was instrumental in helping Clarkson achieve success in terms of numerous hit albums, multiple Grammy wins and nominations, her role on popular television shows like ‘The Voice’ and her own talk show. Despite Starstruck’s hard work and dedication, Clarkson has decided she is going to stop paying Starstruck for what is contractually owed.”
