Actress Kirstie Alley attacked Democrats in a Monday morning tweet, saying that they had done nothing but attempt to undermine President Donald Trump since he took office.
The “Cheers” alumna, who has been vocal in her support for the president, tweeted, “The truth is DEMS have accomplished NOTHING in the last 3 1/2 years other than Devising ways to take TRUMP DOWN. U have been a waste of our tax dollars TIME & faith. EVEN with all YOUR attempts to destroy him, you FAILED! So far he’s STILL STANDING. Alley has been critical of Democratic leadership as well, tweeting over the weekend, “I don’t know how Pelosi and Schumer can SCHOOL the country on ‘transparency’ and ‘honesty’ without laughing like hyenas.”

As negotiations continue for a supplemental coronavirus relief package, however, Democrats say Republicans are the ones who are holding up the process.
