Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to ESPN, the Oilers announced late Monday that McDavid had tested positive for the virus and was “feeling well and is experiencing mild symptoms.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

McDavid is one of the most recognizable athletes on the planet to contract the virus.

Another day goes by in the world of coronavirus, and we get more bad news in the world of sports. It truly never ends.

It seems like coronavirus has been an avalanche of never-ending bad news, and McDavid is simply the latest person to be on the receiving end of it.

Fortunately, it sounds like McDavid is going to be just fine. Sure, he’s experiencing some mild symptoms, but overall, it sounds like McDavid will be in good shape.
