The first and only vice presidential debate is set to be held tonight at the University of Utah and moderated by USA Today Washington bureau chief Susan Page.

Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris are expected to defend the policy records and campaign priorities of President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, respectively. The president is currently trailing Biden by 9.1 points nationwide according to the latest Real Clear Politics polling average.
