It’s October, and that means it’s time to watch spooky and scary Halloween movies.

While horror isn’t my preferred genre, I am a bit of a sucker for a solid scary film. One of the most criminally underrated Halloween movies ever made is the 2007 film “Trick ‘r Treat.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

The movie follows several different storylines on Halloween, and nothing is what it appears to be. I remember being in high school when I saw “Trick r Treat” for the first time, and I immediately loved it.

Nothing gets me going like some great smoke and mirrors.

It’s hard to say whether the ending of “Trick ‘r Treat” is truly a twist ending or if it’s just an unexpected tying of everything together.

What I will say is that I’ve ever once met someone who watched “Trick ‘r Treat” and didn’t enjoy it. It seems to appeal to everyone, and is the perfect kind of movie to get you into the Halloween mood.

Now, is it going to go down as the greatest Halloween movie ever made? No, but it’s still worth watching at least once.

So, do yourself a favor, and rent the movie through whatever service you use to stream. You can thank me later.
