Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin told the media Wednesday that the team is struggling with coronavirus.
According to Sports Illustrated, the man leading the Rebels told the media, “For the first time we are having an issue with that. I’m not going to get into the numbers. It’s very difficult moving people around, and we’re already beat up to from high play count Saturday vs. great team.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Kiffin also told the media that if a game was held today, the Rebels could play it. Ole Miss is scheduled to play Arkansas Saturday, which means there’s plenty of time for things to still go wrong.

Seeing as how LSU vs. Florida has already been postponed, the last thing the SEC can afford right now is another game getting called off.
If another SEC game doesn’t happen this weekend, then you can officially prepare for all hell to break loose in the conference.

As I said above, Kiffin told the media that the Rebels could play right now if they had too. Unfortunately for him, there’s a ton of time between now and Saturday.
That means there’s plenty of time for more players to test positive or get pulled because of contact tracing. If that happens, the Ole Miss might be in big trouble.
