The San Francisco 49ers getting a huge win Sunday night over the Rams had decent TV ratings.

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, the “Sunday Night Football” game peaked with an average of more than 10.5 million viewers on NBC as the Rams won 24-16. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Seeing as how there was also baseball on Sunday night, you have to be content with these numbers if you’re the NFL.

Are the numbers gigantic? No, but peaking with an average amount of viewers north of 10.5 million isn’t too bad at all.

The ratings have been all over the place for the NFL this season. Some games get huge numbers, and some games absolutely bomb.

There seems to be virtually no consistency at all. However, I think the NFL can be happy with the ratings from the 49ers beating the Rams.

Hopefully, the league continues to trend upward with the TV ratings. The more people watching football, the better off this country will be.
