Dez Bryant might be back in the NFL very soon.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Baltimore Ravens “plan to sign” the former Dallas Cowboys superstar to the team’s practice squad if he’s sharp in his workout and passes a physical. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The Ravens previously worked out Bryant, and now it looks like they’ll officially bring him in.

Honestly, I never thought Bryant would ever play in the NFL again. He’s on the wrong side of 30, and hasn’t played in a game in years.

There’s no reason to believe he’s still an elite receiver or even close to it.

Yet, the Ravens clearly know more than I do because they’re bringing him in to be on the practice squad. No matter how wrong I might have been, I have to admit it’s cool to see him on the verge of being back in the NFL.

I always love a great comeback story, and Bryant playing again since leaving the Cowboys is pretty cool.

We’ll have to see how he does, but this is a big development for the former star.
