Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert dominated the Jaguars during a 39-29 win Sunday.

Herbert, who was picked sixth overall in the 2020 NFL draft, had four touchdowns and had 412 total yards in his first NFL win as a starter. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Remember when Herbert was coming out of Oregon and there were serious questions about whether or not he could cut it in the NFL?

How stupid do all those takes look now? The man has been absurdly dominant ever since he was thrust into the starting role.

So far this season, Herbert has 12 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He’s not just playing well for a rookie.

He’s setting the league on fire and just torching defenses left and right. To say he’s exceeded expectations would be a huge understatement.

It looks like the Chargers have their franchise QB, and fans are in for a ton of fun if what we’ve seen over the past few weeks is an indication of things to come.

Justin Herbert absolutely appears to be the real deal.
