Harrison Ford released a touching statement following the death of Sean Connery.

Connery recently passed away at the age of 90, and the reactions and tributes have been pouring in ever since. Ford has had one of the best that I’ve seen so far. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Harrison said the following in a Tuesday statement given to Deadline:

He was my father … not in life … but in Indy 3. You don’t know pleasure until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle bouncing along a bumpy, twisty mountain trail and getting to watch him squirm. God we had fun — if he’s in heaven, I hope they have golf courses. Rest in peace dear friend.

This is such a great statement from Ford. The two men famously started in the iconic film “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” together.

Ford played Indy, and Connery played the legendary character’s father. There’s no question that it’s one of the greatest movies ever made.

Now, Connery has passed onto the other side, and it’s clear that Ford is going to miss his friend. Dropping the golf course line is epic.

Instead of getting all sappy, he kept it lighthearted, fun and straight to the point. How else would you want to honor Connery?

Rest easy, Connery. Rest easy.
