Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz appears to be back with the team.
In a picture tweeted by @WISN_Watson, Mertz posted an image on his Instagram story of a clock counting down to the Michigan game, and it appears to be in the Wisconsin football facility. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Mertz tested positive for coronavirus after lighting up Illinois, and the team hasn’t played since.

Michigan is in big trouble if Mertz is ready to go and gets some practice in before the game this Saturday.
I’ve been saying for a bit at this point that I expect Mertz to play against the Wolverines. All signs point to him being on the field after beating coronavirus.
Seeing as how Michigan’s defense can’t stop a nosebleed when it comes to the passing game, Mertz might feast against the Wolverines.
Again, let’s not forget that he dissected Illinois like throwing the ball was going out of style. Now, he seems ready to play the Wolverines.
It’s going to be a fun one this Saturday, and you can check out the action at 7:30 EST on ABC.
