A Nashville man has been charged with wounding eight bystanders during a shootout over a dog, police say.
Allen Crump, 22, was taken into custody at the Metro jail on Monday night, as reported by NBC 4 News. Crump was reportedly brought in on eight counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Investigators stated that Crump is one of two men involved in the original altercation, firing their weapons into a small crowd around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, per NBC 4. When the man with the dog pulled out a gun, the other man ran away only to return shortly after with his own firearm, per NBC.
Seven bystanders were shot and one bystanders was only grazed by a stray bullet, according to an arrest warrant reported by NBC. None of the victims were critically injured, according to authorities.
Crump’s bail is reportedly set at $120,000, and police are still trying to locate the second attacker.
