What I’m about to say might sound a little insensitive, but I’m going to say it anyways. As long as it’s not the football team and men’s basketball team that have issues, then it’s not a reason to panic.

At the end of the day, the only two college sports that truly matter are football and men’s basketball.

That’s not to say you can’t enjoy other college sports. It just means they don’t really matter in the big picture.

As long as the football team plays as scheduled and the basketball team starts the season as planned, then Iowa fans have nothing to worry about.

Now, if the Hawkeyes start going down the same path as Wisconsin, then it’s a very different story. At this time we have no reason to believe that’ll be the case.

As a betting man, I’d bet everything will be just fine with the Hawkeyes.
