Carolina Panthers superstar Christian McCaffrey isn’t expected to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

Panthers’ RB Christian McCaffrey is unlikely to play Sunday against the Lions due to his shoulder injury and the team still is preparing got a multi-week absence, per source.
So likely no McCaffrey and uncertainty about QB Teddy Bridgewater, too.

It seems like there’s an above zero percent chance that McCaffrey is going to miss some substantial time.
It’s really unfortunate for McCaffrey and the Panthers. He missed time earlier in the year, came back for one game and now he’s going to miss more.

Seeing as how McCaffrey is probably the best running back in all of football, it’s never a good thing when a guy like him is off of the field.
Add in the fact that the Panthers are 3-7, and you have a real disaster brewing in Carolina.

If the Panthers drop a few more games, then maybe he should just be shut down for the rest of the season. Why risk more injuries? It’s just not necessary.
