Report: Singer Jeremih Fighting For Life After COVID Diagnosis

Singer Jeremih is reportedly fighting for his life after being diagnosed with the coronavirus, with stars like 50 Cent asking fans to pray for him.

Sources close to the 33-year-old performer shared with TMZ in a piece published Monday that the singer is in the ICU and on a breathing ventilator where his condition has reportedly gotten worse.

The news came following reports on Sunday from rapper 50 Cent who tweeted a message to thank fans for their prayers for his pal and said that he was doing “better.”

“Thank you for praying for my boy Jeremih he is responsive today, doing a little better,” the “Many Men” hitmaker tweeted. (RELATED: Chance The Rapper Has Spent A Grand Total Of $30,000 On Postmates Delivery Since 2015)

“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now,” Chance the Rapper also tweeted Sunday.  (RELATED: Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber Release New Song, All Proceeds Will Go Towards First Responders)

“I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him,” he added.

While rapper Hitmaka asked his fans to pray for the superstar as well following news of his hospitalization, per E! News.

“I need everyone to pray for my brother @jeremih this message is posted with his mothers [sic] blessings,” Hitmaka reportedly wrote on Instagram.

It is unclear how long Jeremih, born Jeremy Phillip Felton, has been in the hospital and exactly when he got the coronavirus diagnosis.
