“Tiger King” star Dillon Passage was arrested early Sunday morning in Texas and charged with a DUI.

Passage was also charged with resisting arrest, according to online records released by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. Passage, who is married to Joe Exotic, was arrested by the Manor Police Department and is being held in the Travis County Jail, the records show.

Passage was booked at 5:35 a.m. and is being held on $3,000 bond, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

Passage reportedly failed a field sobriety test before being arrested, TMZ reported. The “Tiger King” star reportedly had shared a video of himself on Instagram at an event earlier in the evening, according to the outlet. “I’ve tried my hardest to get him to quit drinking, I love him,” Joe Exotic told TMZ.

Passage and Joe Exotic tied the knot on Dec. 11, 2017. Their marriage came two months after Joe Exotic’s previous husband accidentally shot himself in the head.

Joe Exotic has also been behind bars since 2019. He is currently serving 22 years in prison after allegedly hiring someone to kill his rival Carole Baskin. Passage used to visit Joe Exotic in prison every day, he told People magazine.

“It’s something that is a day-to-day thing,” Passage told the outlet at the time. “It’s kind of my normal life now. It’s kind of weird to say, but I’ve kind of gotten used to our situation.”

“The only thing that’s keeping us going is really just hoping for the best and these lawyers seem like they have a really good plan to kind of get things executed,” he added.
