The Federal Reserve is proposing to lower the amount of money required for banks to keep detailed records of money transferred outside the country. The proposal from the Federal Reserve and the Financial Crime Enforcement Network would have banks keep records of international financial transactions at or under $250 instead of the original $3,000.
