Wisconsin is favored by a massive amount Saturday against Minnesota.

Circa Sports dropped their opening lines for the upcoming weekend of college football, and the Badgers are at -21 against the Gophers in the rivalry matchup. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Yes, after losing to Northwestern and looking terrible, we’re somehow favored by three touchdowns against Minnesota, which makes zero sense.

I hate to sound cynical here, but what the hell did the oddsmakers see against the Wildcats that makes them think Wisconsin is going to roll the Gophers?

We didn’t just look bad against Northwestern. Our offensive was offensive to watch. It was the worst game of the Paul Chryst era by a substantial margin.

Now, we’re playing Minnesota in a rivalry game and we’re supposed to win by at least three touchdowns? Yeah, you’ll have to excuse me if I’m not immediately buying it.

Do I expect Wisconsin to win? For sure. There’s no doubt about that at all, but I need to see a hell of a lot more before I think we’re going to boat race them to the tune of three touchdowns.

Our offense was insulting Saturday. Are we really going to improve a ton in a week? I hope so, but I’m not believing it until I see it.

You can catch the game at 2:00 EST on BTN this Saturday. Let’s all hope my pessimism turns out to be 100% unnecessary.
