Navy will have some sick threads for the December 12 game against Army.

The Midshipmen dropped their uniforms Tuesday morning for fans to see, and they’re absolutely awesome. They’re 100% pure America. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The Midshipmen wrote the following about the uniforms for the 2020 game:

Standing on the on the banks of the Severn River and on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, the Naval Academy serves as a landmark from land, air and sea. This uniform represents not only that landmark, but the legends who have walked The Yard and gone on to serve as surface warfare officers, pilots, SEALs, submariners, Marines and more…Six navy stripes, which run from the front of the helmet to the back, pay homage to the original six frigates of the Navy. These stripes are laid on a custom gold flake symbolizing the gold metallics found across The Yard.

You can watch the reveal video below.

Army released their uniforms for fans Monday, and they were also awesome. The Black Knights set the bar high, and Navy met the challenge.

As I’ve said many times, one of the best parts about the Army/Navy game is the ceremony put into the whole thing.

As someone who has seen all the work that goes into the game firsthand, I can promise you that everyone involved in the process cares a lot.

Having fire uniforms is a huge part of the game, and both schools did a damn good job this year.

I can’t wait to see what we get this season from the Black Knights and Midshipmen. Thanks to the pandemic, the game will be at West Point, but I don’t hate the move.

It’s a beautiful campus, and it’ll now host the prestigious event.
