Coastal Carolina football coach Jamey Chadwell has agreed to a monster extension.
The Chanticleers announced Wednesday that the man who has led them to an undefeated season has agreed to an extension with the program. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The contract extension runs through the 2027 season, and salary details aren’t known at this time.

This is cool and all for Coastal Carolina, but I have some bad news for diehard fans of the program. A new seven year extension isn’t going to stop him from going anywhere.
If Jamey Chadwell wants to get a job with a major program, he’s going to take it. There’s nothing Coastal Carolina will be able to do to stop him.

He’s in the same situation as Hugh Freeze. Sure, he might have a new deal, but that doesn’t mean he’s sticking around for long.
