Former Baltimore Ravens player Lorenzo Taliaferro has died.
According to a statement from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office in Virginia, Taliaferro died Wednesday afternoon. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The cause of death hasn’t been announced at this time. The former Ravens RB, who was drafted by Baltimore in the fourth round in 2014, was only 28-years-old. You can read the full statement below.

This is incredibly tragic, and there’s no other way to put it. It’s an incredibly sad situation. Young men aren’t supposed to be dying.
It’s never a good thing when somebody dies, but it’s downright tragic when somebody who should be entering the prime of their life dies.

His NFL career might have already been over, but Taliaferro still had his entire life ahead of him. He was just in his late-20s.
Now, it’s all over at the age of 28. It’s a truly sad and heartbreaking situation.
