ESPN superstar Scott Van Pelt has tested positive for coronavirus.

The ESPN anchor tweeted in part Thursday, “Won’t be doing shows for a bit after a positive Covid-19 test. Thankfully, no fever & I feel fine. Just can’t smell or taste anything which was my clue to go get a test.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Damn, the hits keep coming. You know coronavirus is on a rampage when it his SVP! It got SVP! When guys like Scott Van Pelt get hit, you know nobody is safe.

Also, this sucks that SVP is going to be missing some shows because that guy is a superstar on “SportsCenter.”

I mean, we’re talking about one of the best guys to ever do it on TV. A generational talent and a guy who can take you an emotional roller coaster like it’s no big deal at all.

Also, Van Pelt’s dog recently tore its ACL. How much worse of a week do you want to have?
