The Los Angeles Chargers beating the Las Vegas Raiders 30-27 Thursday night didn’t put up huge TV ratings.

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, the game between the Raiders and Chargers peaked with an average of 8.95 million viewers on Fox, which is far from a great number for the NFL. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

These numbers aren’t really great at all for the NFL, especially considering how the league has been dominating the ratings lately.

The NFL has been putting up numbers, and that simply didn’t happen at the same level last night for the Chargers and Raiders.

Granted, the game was between two teams who aren’t playing for much at all, and it’s hard to draw in the average fan when the teams are fighting for a playoff run.

Hopefully, the NFL gets some bigger ratings to close out the season. It’s just one game. There’s no reason to panic, but Thursday night definitely wasn’t impressive.
