REPORT: Employee Kicked, Punched, And Has Her Necklace Stolen After Face Mask Dispute

A Stockton, California store employee was beaten and robbed Dec. 22, after allegedly asking two customers to wear face masks while inside the store.

Police say that the two suspects refused to wear a mask inside of the store and became agitated with the 23-year-old clerk when they were told to put one on.

Police then say that the two started to beat the employee, kicking and punching her. They also reportedly stole the clerk’s necklace before fleeing the store, according to CBS Sacramento. (RELATED: Man Steals Food From McDonalds Using A Chainsaw, Chases Employees In Parking Lot)

The alleged attack reportedly happened at around noon on the 2300 block of South Airport Way, Stockton, California.

Stockton police are now searching for the two suspects, described as black females. They were last seen wearing dark clothing.

Five separate robberies occurred in Stockton on the night of Dec. 18. One of the suspects was arrested in connection to one of the robberies while another eleven are still being sought after by the authorities in relation to the other four, according to CBS Sacramento.
