Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney isn’t done taking shots at Ohio State just yet.
The Buckeyes and Tigers will meet January 1 in the College Football Playoff semi-finals, and Swinney has made it clear he’s not a big believer in OSU. Well, he’s doubling down! Now, he claimed multiple teams were “punished” for playing more games. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
“It does make it a little easier ’cause there’s not as much tape to pour through. You can’t make it up, there’s only six games.”

Swinney said the following about Ohio State during a video aired Saturday on ESPN, according to 247Sports:
Obviously, they’re a great team. They’re plenty good enough and talented enough to beat us and good enough to win the national championship. But in my opinion, I don’t think that it’s right that three teams have to play 13 games to win it all and one team has to play eight. What universe am I living in? And it has nothing to do with them. It was about qualifying. And I didn’t think they were qualified, based on the number of games, versus all these other teams. … In my opinion — Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma, Cincinnati — they got punished for playing more games.
I honestly can’t wait for this game. Swinney is talking so much garbage that it feels like the hype before a boxing match.
He clearly isn’t impressed with Ohio State getting in after playing six games, and despite him trying his best to be diplomatic, he’s not doing a great job at hiding his feelings.

On the other side of the coin, OSU coach Ryan Day was caught on video saying the Buckeyes will “f**king beat” the ass of anyone they play.
So, all the way around, the game between Ohio State and Clemson is fixing to be a great one.
