Police said a warrant was issued Monday for a New Hampshire man who is accused of throwing a vase at a hotel employee.

Ayuen Leek, 23, of Manchester, reportedly struck a female hotel worker in the face with a glass vase after she told him to wear his mask, according to a statement from the Manchester Police Department on Facebook. The incident took place in the lobby of a Holiday Inn Express on Porter Street in Manchester at 11 p.m. on Dec. 8, police said.

Authorities said Leek then ran out of the hotel, after striking the woman. (RELATED: REPORT: Woman Tackles Keyon Harrold’s 14-Year-Old Son After Accusing Him Of Taking Her Cell Phone)

Police later discovered the suspect had entered the lobby multiple times that day without a mask, according to the statement. However, surveillance footage posted by the Manchester Police Department shows Leek was wearing a mask when he threw the vase.

Authorities said in their initial statement on social media that Leek was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Adidas sweatpants, and black shoes.

Leek had previously been arrested in 2015 after he stole a man’s wallet and struck him in the head with an unknown object outside a market in Manchester, according to police, WMUR reported. He was charged with robbery and second-degree assault.

He faces a second-degree assault charge for this most recent altercation, according to police.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s location is urged to contact the Manchester Police Department.
