TCU vs. Arkansas in the Texas Bowl has been canceled.
According to a statement from TCU AD Jeremiah Donati, the Horned Frogs no longer meet the minimum number of players needed to compete because of coronavirus, injuries and “other circumstances,” which has resulted in the game being called off. Another day passes in the world of college football, and another game bites the dust because of coronavirus. The carnage never ends.
The unfortunate part is that I’m sure the Texas Bowl won’t be the last game to fall.

Seeing as how minor bowls don’t mean much at all, you can’t blame teams for pulling out. It’s hard to be 100% all in on a game when dealing with so many issues.
For that reason and others, I’m sure we’ll see at least a couple more games go down the drain before the bowl season is over.
