Casey Anthony, most known for being acquitted of her daughter’s murder, has reportedly filed paperwork to open her own private investigation business.

Anthony listed herself as a registered agent of Case Research & Consulting Services, LLC on Dec. 14, according to a report first published Wednesday by the Daily Mail. The business is registered to a home in South Florida owned by Anthony’s defense attorney during her 2011 trial, the outlet reported.

Anthony was charged with first-degree murder of her daughter in 2008 after the child disappeared. Caylee Anthony was missing for 31 days before her grandmother reported her missing, according to the outlet. The child’s body was found in the woods near the family home. Anthony was acquitted of the murder charges, but convicted on four counts of lying to the police. (RELATED: Casey Anthony Set To Make A Movie About Her Two-Year-Old Daughter’s Death)

Anthony announced in 2019 that she was making a movie about the death of her daughter titled, “As I Was Told.”

“I could care less what people think of me. I just feel my truth needs to be out of me. I need to close the book,” Casey told Daily Mail at the time. “As long as I get my side out so I can rest. I have spent years hearing other sides of what they believe to be true.”
