Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay is done playing football this season.

The talented wide receiver hasn’t played since the start of November because of a hip issue, and his 2020 season has officially come to an end. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The team told the media Thursday that Golladay won’t play against the Vikings in the final regular season game. He’ll now enter free agency this offseason.

This is really unfortunate, and it’s just the latest bad piece of news for the Detroit Lions this season. When it rains it pours!

Now, Golladay is headed to free agency, and I honestly have no idea what the Lions are going to do.

He’s a great player when healthy, but how much money can we invest in a player if we don’t know if he’ll be ready to roll in 2021?

The Lions are trying to put a championship team together, and we can’t risk cash on a guy who might not play.

We’ll see what happens, but I’m guessing we’ve seen the last of Golladay in a Detroit uniform.
