Tony Hawk Shares Hilarious Story About Not Being Recognized At COVID-19 Testing Center

Tony Hawk shared a hilarious story about not being recognized when he went to get a COVID-19 test with his family that turned out negative.

“At a Covid testing site (wearing masks), handing over paperwork for me [and] two of my kids,” the legendary skateboarder tweeted Thursday to his many followers. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“Woman looking over papers: ‘okay… Anthony, Keegan and Kadence… Hawk? Are you guys related to Tony Hawk?'” he added. (RELATED: 12-Foot Great White Shark Surprises Researcher When It Jumps Right Out Of The Water In ‘Wild’ Video)

Hawk said that after the exchange, she just pointed him in the direction he needed to go to get the test.

“She pointed us towards our ‘swabber’ and that was it,” the 52-year-old superstar wrote. “True story. Oh, and we were all negative.”

A short time later, ESPN shared a post on Instagram highlighting all the times something similar has happened to Hawk — and it’s not just once or twice.

You can the hilarious tweets here. But one that stands out would have to be his post after a run-in with a TSA agent.

“TSA Agent (Checking my ID): ‘Hawk, like that skateboarder Tony Hawk?'” the legendary skater tweeted. “Me: ‘Exactly’. Her: ‘Cool, I wonder what he’s up to these days.’ Me: this.”
