A coroner revealed actor Bert Belasco’s cause of death after he was found unresponsive in a Virginia hotel room back in November.

The coroner confirmed to Fox News that Belasco had died of “hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” according to a report published Tuesday by Fox News. The manner of death was listed as natural causes, according to the outlet.

He was 38 years old at the time of his death.

Belasco was found dead in a hotel room while he was quarantining leading up to the start of filming on the new movie he was set to be in, his father told TMZ at the time. Belasco’s girlfriend reportedly called the hotel to check in on the actor after she could not get ahold of him, the outlet reported. (RELATED: BET Star Bert Belasco Found Unresponsive In Hotel Room)

After his death, other stars shared tributes to Belasco on Twitter.

“I am gutted by this news,” Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted at the time. “Bert was my friend! We had JUST talked last week. He was happy and excited about his new project and all the good that was to come. No day is promised. NO DAY.”

“#BertBelasco may you rest well such an unexpected loss and I am so sorry for his family and friends. He was a talented, humble, and pretty cool guy from what I knew of him and I send prayers up for all effected #RIPBert,” Gabrielle Dennis wrote.
