Actor Bruce Willis has responded after he was allegedly kicked out of a pharmacy Sunday in California for not wearing a face mask.

Willis was photographed not wearing a face mask while entering and exiting a Rite Aid in Los Angeles, and had been kicked out, according to a report published by Page Six. It has not been confirmed if Willis was actually kicked out of the pharmacy.

The “Die Hard” star also was wearing a bandana around his neck at the time, but reportedly refused to wear something covering his face, Page Six reported.

“It was an error in judgment,” Willis said, according to People magazine.

“Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up,” he added. (RELATED: Bruce Willis And Demi Moore Quarantining Together With Their Kids During Coronavirus)

Willis spent the majority of the coronavirus pandemic quarantining with his ex-wife Demi Moore and their children, Scout, Rumer and Tallulah, in Idaho, according to Page Six. Originally, Willis’ new wife Emma and his younger children stayed in Los Angeles due to health reasons, the outlet reported.

“It’s been really funny having both my parents at the house where they like raised us,” Scout said during an episode of the “Dopey” podcast.

“It’s kind of divine timing to getting this much time to hang out with them,” Scout continued. “I’m very grateful to be with my family.”
