Action movie star Liam Neeson claimed he’s getting ready to retire from action films.

Neeson confirmed he is working on putting out a couple more action films this year, but that might be it for the “Taken” star during an interview published Thursday by Entertainment Tonight.

“Oh, yeah. I think so,” Neeson told the outlet. “I’m 68 and a half. 69 this year. There’s a couple more I’m going to do this year — hopefully, COVID allowing us — there’s a couple in the pipeline and, then I think that will probably be it. Well, unless I’m on a Zimmer frame or something.”

“I love doing ’em,” Neeson reportedly said. “I love beating up guys half my age.” (RELATED: Liam Neeson’s New Movie ‘The Marksman’ Looks Outstanding)

Neeson went on to joke that he might need a walker to continue making action films.

The actor seemingly came to the realization that he might be too old to film action movies while on set of his upcoming film “Blacklight.”

“I’ve just finished one in Australia and I had a fight scene with a kid — lovely, sweet actor called Taylor — and halfway through the fight I looked up, I was breathless and it didn’t cost him a cent, and I said, ‘Taylor, what age are you?’ He said, ’25,'” Neeson recalled. “I said, ‘That’s the age of my eldest son!'”
